Touch the controller and it will respond to your request at once. The tabletop will move up or down by as much as you want, to the nearest millimetre. Thanks to the motor, the tabletop moves at a speed of 2.0 cm per second. But it does so really quietly. On the edge of audibility. You will read the current height on the digital display.
